2024 Tournaments

KETTLE MORAINE TOURNAMENTS FOR THE 2024 SEASON

Please join us for one of the best baseball tournaments in Southeast Wisconsin.  Our tournaments, held at Wales Community Park, Delafield Sports Commons, and/or Ottawa Town Park boasts the finest facilities in the area.  Terrific fields, outstanding concessions and adjoining parks with playground equipment are just part of the tremendous baseball experience your team and family will enjoy.

Teams must be community-based, no all-star or tournament teams please. This is an open tournament, so there may be some local community teams that play in the "A" division of their community league. The Tournament Director reserves the right to refuse a team from participating for any reason, or to cancel a registration for a non-community based team, and will evaluate prior season results to try to ensure a competitive tournament for all teams.

3 games minimum weather permitting, 1 day tournaments. Tournament Director may modify format at ANY time.

Awards will be provided to 1st and 2nd place teams for U11-U14, and 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place teams at U8-U10. Awards are based on the number of players with a maximum of 13 awards available per team. We have Gold Rings for the 1st place champions that the kids will love!

We have fantastic concessions with many offerings. This event is a fundraiser for our club, we appreciate your patronage of our concessions.  No tail-gating or grills allowed.

Code of Conduct & Ejections:  The Tournament Director, Tournament Officials, and Umpires have final authority to eject anyone from the tournament for failure to follow rules or for disrespectful or disruptive behavior. Foul language, heckling, yelling at, or arguing with an umpire, other team, or fans is strictly prohibited and there will be zero tolerance. Anyone ejected from a game will automatically be suspended for the remainder of the tournament. Parents or coaches ejected must leave the vicinity of the playing field area including the stands and may not attend the game under suspension. If a coach, player, team representative, parent, or fan continues disruptive behavior following an ejection, their team will forfeit the game and the remainder of the tournament. It is strongly recommended that a player serve his suspension by sitting on the bench, out of uniform and supporting his team.

Alcohol is forbidden at the tournament or on park grounds.  This is both a park and tournament rule.  Please pass on to your family, friends, and fans that alcohol is not permitted. There is also no tail-gating or grills allowed in the parks.

Registration Fee: $475 per team. Pay online with Visa, Mastercard, or Discover.

QUESTIONS?

Dale Olson

Tournament Director

FAQS:

Why 1 day tournaments? While everyone has different goals, many families appreciate the 1 day format since they only need to commit to a single day and not the entire weekend. We've received great feedback on this format the last couple years, and we believe it provides coaches and families another option with more flexibility to fit our KMJL tournament into their busy summer schedules.

What is the level of teams in your tournament? While our tournament is an open format, our goal is generally around B level for all our tournaments on average with only community based teams, no all stars or tournament/travel teams. We will allow some A and C community teams. We are generally pretty close to averaging B level in most age groups.

When can we find out our schedule and game times? Communication during the tournaments will be centralized in a Tourney Machine site for each tournament. The Tournament Director will be using the Tourney Machine App to communicate the tournament's standings, schedules, brackets and results on a page specific to our KM tournaments. The Tournament Director may also send email and text messages to coaches regarding delays, schedules changes, and more. Initial game schedule details will be shared with team coaches via email and will also be posted in Tourney Machine for coaches, players, families, and fans at least two weeks before the tournament.

What is Tourney Machine? Tourney Machine is a free App for coaches, parents, and fans to get instant real-time updates on the tournament's standings, schedules, brackets and results on a page specific to the KM tournaments. Please ensure all coaches, parents, and fans download the Tourney Machine App from the Apple or Google app store and search for KM MAYHEM or KM CLASSIC in the app. Please see the individual Tourney Machine link for each tournament above.

How do I register my team? All team registration for our tournaments are online only by clicking the link at the top right of this page. Credit card payments with Visa, Mastercard or Discover are accepted at checkout.

Is there any other required paperwork? After registering your team online, the only other required form is a completed and signed Waiver. Every individual player must have a completed Tournament Authorization and Liability Waiver completed with a Parent/Guardian to participate in the tournament. Parents/Guardians can complete the sign-off on their Player Waiver completely online. After your team is registered, please email all your parents to complete the online sign-off at this link: https://kmlasersbaseball.sportngin.com/register/form/148929548

What is your refund policy? Games rained-out, cancelled, or postponed due to weather or other factors outside the tournament directors control may be rescheduled. The Village of Wales, Town of Ottawa, Delafield Sports Commons, and the Waukesha County Parks system reserve the right to cancel all games due to inclement weather. Absolutely no refunds will be given once the tournament begins. Partial refunds will be given if the tournament is completely rained out for the entire day with zero games played.

Where are the games played? Games will be played at one of the following locations depending on the age group. Details will be shared with teams via email and the schedule will be posted in Tourney Machine at least two weeks before the tournament.

Will you have full concessions?  We have fantastic concessions with many offerings. This event is a fundraiser for our baseball club, we would really appreciate your patronage of our concessions!

How are seedings determined?  Seeding determination: (1) Record (2) Head to Head (3) Runs Allowed (4) Runs Scored (5) Coin flip – Team from furthest away calls heads / tails. If a seeding round is used for a given age, based on # of teams and fields available, then teams are randomly assigned pool games to determine seeding for the bracket round.
