The 2024 U13 tryout will be moved to Monday July 17th from 5:45 - 8pm at Wales Community Park

Tryouts for 2024 season

July 11, 2023 - U7, U8, U9, U11, & U14 (typically going into 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th or 8th grade for 2023-2024 school year)

July 13, 2023 - U10, U12, U13 (typically going into 4th, 6th or 7th grade for 2023-2024 school year)

Player check in from 5:15-5:45pm

Player warm ups from 5:45-6pm

The tryouts will run from 6-8pm

Kettle Moraine Junior Lasers is a select baseball club accepting players in grades 1-8 within the Kettle Moraine School District. 

At the tryout, players will perform throwing, catching, fielding, and hitting drills. Players should wear athletic attire and athletic shoes or cleats. Players should bring a glove, bat, water and helmet. If a player does not have a bat, we will provide one.

Fees for the 2024 Season: U7 and U8 (Grades 1 and 2) - $400. U9-U14 (Grades 3-8) - $500. Fees are paid upon registering for tryouts. If your child is not selected for a team, your fees will be refunded. If your child is selected for a team but decides not to play, there are no refunds. 

**Note - we also require a $100.00 volunteer deposit for each player registering. Each family is required to work one shift per player in the club at our annual KM tournament. Once you've completed your shift, the $100.00 will be refunded to your credit card.**

KMJL teams begin indoor practices once per week in December or January. Beginning in April, teams will have a combination of 2-3 games or practices per week through mid-July. Indoor practices are at KMHS or other KM schools. Outdoor practices are at Wales Community Park or other parks within the KM district. Teams will play approximately 16 league games, typically on weeknights, and 2-3 weekend tournaments.
